WINTER WONDERLAND

A couple of weekends ago we had a couple big snow storm. Within the two storms we had atleast a couple of feet of snow. The first storm was really wet so it melted a little bit but then we got the 2nd round and it was like a winterwonderland. I loved it!!! I would love it to stay this way until Christmas! But.......

HALLOWEEN

Last year for Halloween we went down to St. George to see Thriller and trick or treat. Well we had so much fun we decided to go again. The kids didn't get to see Thriller last year so we took them this year and they loved it. Austin said it was the best Halloween ever. We also went to a trunk or treat, carved pumpkins and went trick or treating. Grandpa went with us and my sister Tanya and her family

TIMPANOGOS CAVE

For fall break my brother and his family came from St. George and we all hiked up to Timpanogos Cave with my dad and a couple of my sisters. I haven't been up there in years and my kids had never been. It was a beautiful weekend to go!!

FALL TIME

I just LOVE fall it is my favorite time of year but it just doesn't seem to last long enough. Here are a few pictures of the trees in our yard. The Autumn Sunset Maple is suppose to turn red every fall but the last couple of years it hasn't. I think it's been a little confused with our strange weather!!

THE GOOD & BAD OF SUMMER

We had a great summer and I can't believe that it is over. It went by way too fast!! We went to Lake Powell in June. With the weather being cooler than it has been we were actually COLD at times. I have never been cold at Powell. We had a great time. My dad, sister Tanya & her family, brother Mike & his family and Coltons friend Aaron all went with us. Luckily we didn't have any big issues with the boat or suburban until after we go back home. We had to put a transmission in the suburban about a week after we got back!!

For the 4th of July we worked on a bathroom we are remodeling and then went out to Herriman to have a BBQ at my sister Dorothy's house.

We even got mom to go!! And notice we are all bundled up. It was cold!

We went to St. George for the 24th. We helped my brother and his family move and then we had a fun weekend. We went swimming, ate a lot of course and did fireworks. The kids had a blast. My dad went with us and he had bought a toy hauler in St. George so we had to tow it home and we broke down in Parowan. Long story short we had a long day. Some of us didn't get home until 2 am but we all made it home including the trailer. We ended up having to put a new engine in the suburban!!
We took a few trips to Pineview My nephew Matt found a dead Tiger Muskie and decided to swim to it and bring it to the boat. That thing was huge,ugly and stinky!
The kids had youth conference and scout camps. I don't have any pictures of most of it but here is Austin getting ready for a camp and also being in charge of a Court of Honor where he received 5 merit badges his Tender Foot and Second Class advancements

This was our last trip to Pineview. We took Ryan & Steph Thacker and their darling kids with us. We had such a fun time. I just love being at the lake

All three of the kids were sick this summer. First Aysia then Colton he was sick right after we got home from St. George and was in bed for a week not being able to function. He hasn't felt right since last Oct when he caught some kind of virus so we are very concerned trying to figure out what is going on. Poor Austin got really sick right before school so he started middle school being sick. So with all our trips, fixing vehicles and the kids being sick it was a very fast and expensive but fun summer :)

Colton got accepted to the Canyons Technical Education Center in the Auto Collision Repair Program. He will be attending during his senior year of high school next year. He is excited to be able to learn all the things he needs to
so that he can fix up his blazer

He is doing so well
in school and is such a good kid.

CAN'T WAIT!!

I LOVE Lake Powell. We haven't been there in about 12 years and we are going June 9th. I am so excited for my kids to be able to see the Lake and remember it since they were too young to remember much of it the last time we were there.

EASTER WEEKEND

We had a busy and fun Easter/General Conference weekend. Michael, Julie, Brylie, Cody & Sadie came up from St. George to spend the weekend with us. We had the whole family over to moms on Saturday for lunch, and Easter egg hunt and egg coloring. We had a great time even though the weather didn't cooperate much. Saturday the boys went to the Priesthood session of General Conference and in between sessions on Sunday I made lunch for all of us and Kyla and her kids came out and ate with us. That afternoon Michael and his family had to go back home. We always have a great time when they are here and are sad to see them go!

WHAT'S WITH ALL THE HYPE

We finally went to In-N-Out and I'm still wondering what all the hype is about.
It was good but not any better than other burgers we have tried. I'm sure we will go again
but not if we have to wait in line.
